Open neutral diagnosis?

I use one of those plug in testers with three lights. It shows only the right light which signals an open neutral.

Everything works fine. The tester shows an open neutral in all the 120v outlets in the trailer, and it doesn't show open neutral in any of the house or garage outlets.

I'm a little at a loss how to find the 'open neutral' since everything seems to work OK. Any suggestions where to start would be most welcome.

Check where you have the trailer plugged. That is the source of the open neutral unless all the outlets in the trailer are wired wrong. Come to think of it the neutral wire might also be loose on the power cord connector. Should be one or the other.

If you're using an extension cord to plug the trailer in, check that too. It might be broken or wired wrong.

The neutral wire is the white wire. Everywhere you see a white 120 volt wire, it is the neutral. I would start at the 30 amp outlet box the trailer is hooked to, and work toward the trailer.
