not sure what second light switch is

Hello, This might seem like a stupid question, but, Here it goes anyways. There are two light switches inside the door opening. I know one of them goes to the light over the door. But, not sure what the other one goes to. We have a seperate switch close to the front of the trailer, about under front curbside speaker, that works the other outside light on the front curbside of trailer. Just not sure what the one out of the two light switches does or goes to. Thanks for your time

On my 1979 Safari, the second switch is a three way for the galley light.

Yep, It will turn on the light in the kitchen when you walk in so you don't have to fumble around to switch on a light..

the really confounding thing about it is that it is NOT a "3-way" switch. It is a one-way switch that supplies power to the galley light. If the door switch is in the "off" position, the galley light switch doesn't seem to work.
a true "three-way" switch would enable you to turn on and off the light from either switch, regardless of the other switches position.

Chuck,

On my 1979, it is a true three way switch, just like the water pump switches in the bathroom and kitchen.

My '73 is the same as Chuck's. I didn't notice that someone said three way.

Chuck,

If it made a difference in 1979, I did.

Mine's three-way, too.

And a little farther forward along the wall (other side of the front curbside window) is the switch for the large round light outside.

Always thought that was a less-than-intuitive place for that switch...
