no power inside trailer

We have a 1967 30' footer. It has been gone thru totally in the past 3 years. We are replacing the axles next week and would like to take her out but I have no power inside the unit.Any ideas where to start.A new power inverter was installed 3 years ago professionally.

For the sake of terminology, an inverter and a converter are two different things. An inverter converts 110v to 12v for 12v appliances, TVs, shaver etc. A converter accepts the 30amp (or less) electrical power from the camp ground, your generator, your house etc....and supplies your 110v appliances, lights etc with power. It also supplies power to your 12v panel...which then powers 12v outlets, probably the control panel on your fridge...and most importantly, charges your batteries.

Start by checking your circuit breakers in your breaker box... Are they all on? Flip them to full off...then back to full on.

Let us know what happens.

I should also have asked.... Are you plugged in to the house or other viable source of power? Is it a GFI outlet that needs to be reset? Or are you looking for battery power that isn't there? Do you have a battery "store" switch? Or maybe your batteries are dead/discharged....

arktos55343's description of an "inverter" is not correct.
An " inverter" has a 12Volt DC power source and provides 120AC, usually to designated outlets. There are 2 types of "inverters", modified sign wave and pure sign wave.
A "converter" has a 120 volt AC source and provides 12Volt DC to the coach for things like the furnace, pump and lights. It also charges the house battery.
The "converter" has nothing to do with the 120 volt power to the outlets in the coach, other than perhaps to use one of the outlets for it's power source.
