NEW LED Tail Lights-What wire color is what?

I just received new LED tail lights from Inland RV, The New LED lights state the wire colors as follows:

White=Ground
Black=Tail
Red=Brake

What are the original colors on my '64 Represent?

Red=???
Yellow=???
Green=???

Looking for answers on the correct color match-up!

I would take a 12v tester and verify each wire myself. Do you have each color at each side?

I agree with testing each wire. I would start out with these colors and verify with the tester.

Red -> left turn
Green -> running lights
therefore:
Yellow -> Right turn?

Test is about the only option, worked on 4 60's trailers, all seem to have a different color code after the junction box, including the 63 safari which every 12v wire in the trailer is red, regardless of function.

You might find the Airstream wiring diagram for the trailer tow wiring. I seem to remember that it matched the wiring when the new LEDs were wired on my Overlander. You can find the diagram at this link.

Good luck with your project!

According to the diagram, the yellow should be the brake magnets. That means you need to find a brown wire for the right turn signal. Is there a brown wire in there somewhere?

Great diagram Kevin.

I must have something else going on here. When I plug the trailer into the TV, even with no lights on the TV, the running lights come on the trailer. When I press the brakes, the brake light does not come on, but the running lights go out. The turn signals and emergency flasher seem to work fine. Hmm. Time for advice, and a 12v tester.

The black is coming out hot, even when the brake is not being depressed. The TV is just sitting with no lights on. Is the correct? I sure feel like I had some 12v training right now!
