need 12v in bathroom

I need to get a 12v line into the bathroom. The refrigerator is between the bathroom and the power panel. What's the best route?

I have this floorplan:

I would consider tapping into the 12v supply behind the fridge (use the outside access door to get to this) then run the line into the bottom of the vanity cabinet from there. The fridge only uses 12v to power the logic board so there is plenty of capacity for most 12v devices so tapping in there shouldn't be an issue. If you don't want to do this and want a dedicated 12v line, you can still run it from the power panel snaking it behind the fridge (using the access panel to get the line across the back of the fridge) and into the vanity.

We have the same floor plan. Here is some in-progress photos of our living area/recliner conversion, it shows what things look like behind the converter/charger in a couple photos. Maybe you could tap into it there, and run a 12v line under or through the fridge compartment.

I'm just powering a small fan so, using fridge power shouldn't be a problem. Thanks.

That looks really nice. I have tried this fish under the fridge but can't seem to get all the way through. Do your new cabinets match the original?

In the photo it looks like some of the wires go through a space under the fridge but I didn't pay much attention at the time.

We had the work done at Jackson Center so they used all Flying Cloud factory material to match everything. Interesting, this is one of the few (maybe only) late Airstream floor plans where you can pull out the dinette/lounge and have an open space for any conversion that suits you.

Very nice. I'd probably have to sell a kidney to duplicate that setup.

Managed to get a wire from the fridge compartment into the bathroom. Took some mild cussing but nobody got hurt.

That's weird that they discontinued 12v in the bathroom. Our 1989 has an outlet under the upper mirrored cabinet, above the sink. The Argosy 1978 has it inside the mirrored cabinet. Glad you got it done with only mild cussing.

This model has no upper cabinets in the bathroom as it has a window in there. Not sure if there is 12v in the FB. The only 12v outlet is in the front overhead cabinet.

Aren't the lights in the bathroom 12v?

Couldn't you somehow leverage that circuit?

Or is it 1 step forward 2 steps back. Sometimes (actually a lot of the time) I wonder who makes the decisions on the products that they use in their trailers.

Probably a bean counter that has never used one of their products. Only the cheapest components will do.....
