Question Little External Light

I was connecting my water discharge hose two nights ago and for the first time I saw a small light shining on the connection. Its mounted in the bottom of the trailer just ahead of the discharge coupling.

Whats this??? How do I turn it off? On? No mention of it in the manual.... can anyone help?

Thanks!

That is your discharge hookup convenience light. There is a small swich near the light to turn it on and off. The switch often fails. It can be replaced with a more durable switch.

The switch s a bit hard to see...it's a push-button switch under a rubber covering.

Super ! Thanks to both of you.

I got down under the trailer and indeed found the light switch - or I should say, found the hole where the light switch is supposed to go. I think the outside securing nut must have fallen off and the switch is now inside the body molding. That will be a job for tomorrow in the light.

I hope that plastic panel comes off easily.....

Hey DLB435, where is a good place to get a replacement switch? Mine sometimes works.

I cheated just a little bit. I have about a half a hardware store out in my shed. I just rumaged around until I found this:

they sell for about $30.00
