Lighting showcase

I thought it would nice to offer a thread idea for you hard working people out there to showcase your vintage, conversion, and modern lighting configurations. I have browsed the forums and have discovered innovative and creative lighting installs. This thread would be a opportunity for the members to post pictures of your trailer interior / exterior lighting configurations. It would provide a place to post your hard work and offer a place for others to get ideas. Any takers on the first post of pictures?

Marker Lights

Artstream - how'd you get your marker lights on w/o having 'em connected for towing? How did you wire to get 'em on with your exterior & awning lights? Always wanted to do that when camping as part of the lighting effect... been thinking of making a backlite "Airstream Classic" emblem for the back of my trailer...

In the pitch black of the night, a subtly lite Airstream is breath taking... a 50's sci-fi come to life... love the neon!

Along the same lines...

Was just thinking of the space station... and got an idea for a new module the shuttle could take up...

Those astronaughts circling the earth could probably use a good bite to eat up there. A big neon & flashing "Good Eats" sign on top of a 34' Classic could even be seen from earth with a good pair of binoculars... Heck, the soviets shuttle looks like a take-off from the Airstream anyway so they could even have a drive-thru... fly-thru... whatever. Little bit of caulk, change out the A/C, glue the flamingos to the side, seal up the Fantastic vent fans...

Damn... should of gone to work for NASA...

easy, i do it too.

jumper your running light pin to the 12volt supply pin on your umbilical cord.

add a fuse to the jumper if you like.

this page should cover all combinations Marksrv.com 7 way wiring diagram page

i would think a 20 amp fuse would work well.

Once again, thanks John. Will work on a lighting photo for the posting, least, once the rain stops...

Appreciate the resource link. If only the rest of the world worked as the forums...

A quick side bar; in place of the jumper wire we use a heavy duty turn signal flasher so our running lights flash on and off! Really annoys the neighbors!

My first light to post in a creative sense. I placed a 12 volt rope light up in the roof vent. Red mood light for me and the wife. LOL

New tail lights, center mushroom with license light, and that little thing is a 100 watt equivalent back up light. Move or be blinded.
