LED tail light wiring

Okay, I'm committed to changing to LED taillights tucked inside the wedding cake covers on my 1959 Traveler. I'm ready to wire them up!

I would appreciate somebody directing me to the thread that has photos of the color wire connections-- which ones get wired together. On the right rear side there are only two wires and there was only one two-filament bulb.

I have everything for the project - except for the wiring diagram. I'm pretty sure it's easy, but I'd appreciate reading it for myself.
Thanks for your help.
Cindy

I dont have a wiring diagram but I should be able to talk you through this...
First the bulb holder is the ground, the outside of the old bulb when placed into the bulb holder acts as the ground. So you will have to secure a wire from the light plate with a screw or a rivet. This will connect to the black ( - ) wire off of your new LED lights...
Next, If you look at the old bulb filament there is one that is longer or in some cases wider inside the bulb, this is your break/turn filament and the wire connected to this side of the bulb will be wired to the red ( + ) of you new LED dedicated to the brake/turn and the black ( - ) will be connected to the ground wire you riveted or screwed into place. The other filament, the short leg in the bulb is your running/park light and will be connected to a new separate LED bulb with that wire connected to the red ( + ) wire and the black ( - ) wire connected to the new ground wire you connected the turn/Brake LED too... Please note you must have 2 LED lights to replace the one old style. You may have too remove the old bulb holder in order to have room to replace it with two depending on the type of replacement LED's you are using. It should also be noted that you may have to put a resister in line with the brake/turn LED because it works on resister to create the blink on or off.

Better information about my question about LED taillights

Hi,
This is the LED light I have:
Super-Bright 20 LED Stop-Tail-Turn Light – Round | Command Electronics :: Manufaturers of Lighting for RV, Marine, & Trailers

It has two wires and a green ground wire.

Thanks for your encouragement vinstream. It turns out that the LED wires are red, brown and white. My trailer wires are green and black. I connected trailer black wire to taillight red wire, trailer green to taillight brown, and white as ground. It worked. All is well.
