LED Sequential Turn Signal
Lucy has a super new upgrade. She is now sporting a pair of amber LED sequential turn signal lights. What is most convenient is that they fit perfectly in the lower spot in Lucy's tail light nacelle. They appear to be OEM.
These are also amber running lights when not flashing.

Hmm
Cool concept, do they make them in red, I'm not a fan of amber in the rear of vehicles? MPJ

They make an identical one in red.

Cool! Lookin' waaaay cool!
The nacelle has some boadacious corrosion on it; is that what's called "filiform"?

Nice! Wish there was some way to have that on mine - I just have the regular LED retrofit lights.

Unfortunately, Lucy does suffer from some filiform corrosion. I have just decided to disregard it and go camping. Lucy spends so much time camping, it's hard to get around to projects.

Not sure that's true. In fact there's a move afoot to make amber the required color for rear turn signals. They are more easily distinguishable from red brake lights.

I was thinking rear turn signals OK, running lights no.
I do agree that they look good. Where did you get them?

Lucy' s new lights came from the website, www.closertowholesale.com. The total cost was under$66.00 including shipping. I don't consider this an exorbitant price for a serious upgrade.

Hi, moosetags. I like your new lights. I added amber tail, brake, and turn signals to my trailer a few years back. I think that they catch the eyes of the people behind you better than just all red. I thought about doing the sequential lights like you have, but I didn't want them to both flash in sequence with my brake lights on.

Bob,
I remember yours from Albuquerque in '08. I liked them then.
I like the flashing stop lights. It might get the attention of a texting airhead.

Hi, I also didn't like the cheap plastic rings that Airstream put on my trailer's tail lights, so I found some stainless steal replacements. They are simple looking, but I won't have any problems with them. I think I bought them from NW Trucking.
