LED Replacement For Halogen Reading Lights

Just thought some might be interested in seeing the difference between a regular halogen light and an LED cool white light. Not trying to start any debate on which is better, just some photos to share.

Warm white would be a better way to compare. I just swapped mine out with warm LED and can hardly tell the difference.

I guess it would help to know which is what The yellow cast is the halogen and is on the left side. I know each has their own idea on what is better, warm or cool. For us, we prefer the cool white I also did the under stove vent light in a cool white led. For us, this is what we go for. Not saying it is better. Here is the link:

I've been happy with LEDs I bought from these guys.

Thanks this is helpful. I have been wondering how to rid myself of the halogen heat without changing the fixture out.
