LED Replacement For Halogen Reading Lights

Just thought some might be interested in seeing the difference between a regular halogen light and an LED cool white light. Not trying to start any debate on which is better, just some photos to share.

ummmm....which is which?

Just want to be sure...

I just purchased some LED's and am curious...UPS says they arrive today...

Warm white would be a better way to compare. I just swapped mine out with warm LED and can hardly tell the difference.

I guess it would help to know which is what The yellow cast is the halogen and is on the left side. I know each has their own idea on what is better, warm or cool. For us, we prefer the cool white I also did the under stove vent light in a cool white led. For us, this is what we go for. Not saying it is better. Here is the link:

Thanks this is helpful. I have been wondering how to rid myself of the halogen heat without changing the fixture out.
