Did anyone upgrade the marker lights to LED with a different style other than the traditional 2x4s?
How about something like this?
Miro Flex Red SEALED Surface Mount LED Marker CLEARANCE Light Optronics | eBay
Please any idea or suggestions will be great!
And for all of you that had upgraded your marker lights please feel free to post some pics.
Thanks in advance
My latest TT has clearance lights affixed in recesses that don't allow for easy replacement due to size spec. Many hours of online searching. But one recommendation I'll pass along is to stay with USDOT/FMVSS-rated (GROTE, for example) where future replacements are already part of the nationwide commerical truck parts distribution network. IOW, I don't care to have to do it all from scratch again
in the future should one or more fail and I can no longer buy that brand or spec. With red & amber lights this turns into work, not just expense.
A commercial vehicle might have a few dozen depending on the owner, but they must all work
and the legal minimum is beside the point. So thinking I'll replace the bad one a week or so from now is not good thinking.
