LED light good buy
In preparing a 94 Excella for use at a remote location, I searched for LED replacements. Just discovered a great dome light (Camco 41320-$8.49 on Amazon) and 2 pack replacement bulbs $4.49). The replacement bulbs fit into the bayonet style light fixtures and provide a much brighter light. Free shipping over $35. I am using the Camco fixture to replace the 1141 fixtures in the kitchen area and dinette.
There are LED replacements for the 1141 bulbs, but they are up to 4 times more than the above referenced bayonet bulbs.

Right, they're not LED.

And, you're right. LEDs are more expensive.

Failure on my part to adequately explain. The current dome light over the kitchen uses the 1141 bulbs, as does the dinette light (not a dome light). The other dome lights in the unit use the bayonet bulbs. The Camco light referenced DOES NOT come with LED lights, but does use the bayonet bulbs. The least expensive LED to replace the 1141 was approx $5 compared to $2.25 for the bayonet bulbs. My plan is to change the fixtures in the kitchen and dinette to bayonet bulb style lights (i.e. the Camco referenced) and to change the other bayonet bulbs in the existing fixtures to the LED lights referenced. Sorry for the confusion.

For what it worth all LEDs are not created equal. Quality LEDs will cost you a bit more but are worth it in the long run.
