Interior light switch problem

Front ceiling light in our 92 Excella 25 classic had a intermittent faltering switch, now is completely out. Confirmed power coming into fixture. Can I get access to the internal switch to play with it? Appears to be a sealed light unit and don't want to mangle it or fully replace it if there is another option.

Are you referring to one of the 14x14 large fixtures? Is it florescent or bulb?

The switch for the ceiling light is usually by the door. What switch are your referring to?

Picture may help

Sorry - not clear enough on info. Original ceiling light with 2 bulbs, slide switch with 3 positions on plastic fixture - off, one bulb, and both bulbs.

Are you sure the bulbs are good? Test them out of the fixture. Often inheritance is a broken filament that makes and brakes itself.

Never had one of the fixtures apart but I would check for voltage directly in the bulb socket. If you have power there see how the fixture is grounded
