Smile Interior Flouresent lights to LED PUCK

We are remolding a 1990 29" Excella, and currently have the 2 bulb flouresent interior ceiling lamps with a On-Off switch on each on. We want to remove these and replace with the new type LED PUCK lights.
Can these LED PUCK lights be controled individually by an On-Off switch also?

Or is there any recomendations?

I removed fluorescents and installed LED rectangles

I tied them to a wire mesh called "hardware cloth".

Result is awesome. Plenty of light and low battery draw.

Here was a previous application using strip LED but they were too Hot!!! Probably around 6000k instead of the 5400 they claimed to be.

I would fit in with the "close encounters of the 4th kind" had I kept those!

Don't forget. You remove the transformer then connect lights to the DC supply wire.

I also used a LED driver to dim the LEDs

Thumbs up LED's

Thanks for the idea, your interior looks awesome with those LED's! But I want to get the look of the newer models, with the small Puck type LED's.

I bought 2 rolls of 16 ft LED strip on E Bay and replaced every light in the trailer. The strips can be cut in 3 in increments. I used 3 sections in the 4x4 fixtures and 3 an 4 12in. strips in the large fixtures with the 3 sections controlled by the low side of the light switch and all controlled by the high side of the switch.

Rolls are currently selling for about $10.00 a roll.

Yes the color is a bit higher than the original lights but fine.

Are you planning on recessed or surface mount? I have surface mounted ones over my dinette and those have switches. It may be more difficult to find recessed lights with switches. Also, if you can't find them in LED, you can always buy halogen and replace the bulbs with LED's.

LED Fluorescent Tube Replacements

I've used the Cabin Bright in all my fluorescent fixtures and they've worked out quite well. And even more important my wife is happy!
