Could it be you have not balanced your running gear?

Or worn axles?

Mostly likely the mantles break at speeds over 70 while passing sob's.

New axles and they still break off.... I don't tow at 70, common Gary, I tow at 85...

Of olden times that was the color the metal part was painted, and they had a cylindrical shade rather than a globe-shaped one. It was similar to the "avocado" color that was popular for appliances for a while.
