How to replace the bulb in the Power On indicator lamp

Hi, New guy here with a question. I have been able to find answers to all of my previous questions by using the search feature. However, I am not able to do so on this one. I have a 77 Ambassador.

I want to check out the bulb in the Power On indicator lamp. I cannot see how to remove the lamp assy from the Control Center. I removed the exhaust fan filter to access to the back side of the Control Center. That lamp fixture is recessed inside another panel on the backside and I can't see anyway to release the retaining clips from the back. Are they released from the front and if so how?

I am replacing the original inverter/charger (Triad I think) and just want to be sure the bulb is good while I am waiting for the new inverter/charger to arrive. Thanks for any help provided. I really appreciate having these forums as a reference source for all things AS.
