Hot Water heater indicator light

Question to everyone. It the hot water heater light replaceable or does the switches also have to be replaced. I took it out and it appears to be all one unit. It is on a 2015 Flying Cloud 27fb.

Thanks for any help.

Not knowing exactly what is going on, are you concerned that you HW light is not on?

If you're using electricity to heat your water, it will NOT be illuminated.

On my unit the light blinks once when I turn on propane. It says off and only lights up if there's an ignition fault. It might be fine.

Mine doesn't blink but comes on if propane ignition fails. No light on when using 120v.

I just watched the video on this as we were breaking in our new 27 fb. The light only stays on if there is a fault and the heater does not ignite.

Welcome to the forum!

Your Owner's Manual should have information about when the light goes on and off -- on p. 5-17 [PDF p. 51/116]:

Why would you want to replace it? Are you sure it isn't working?

Thanks for the responses. What ya'll said fits my scenario. My previous unit indicated that it was working by the red light being lit. Sort of got suckered in on that one.

Thanks for the info and help.
