Help Replacing Cluster Lights!!

Ok, so the lights that came with my airstream were purchased by the PO. The wiring seems to be totally different. The old lights had a red wire that crimped into the assembly. The new lights have a black wire running out of the assembly. Do I crimp the two together and just tuck them in? or do I put them both in the other crimp space inbetween the bulbs??
