Fog Light out on 2006 Dodge Sprinter Airstream Interstate

One of my fog lights are out on my 2006 Dodge Sprinter Airstream Interstate 2500. I think the fog light is after market but not sure? I have been told the entire assembly must be replaced rather than just the bulb. It appears that way after taking it apart and looking at it. I looked for something similar to what I have and cannot find a replacement. Any ideas? Thanks so much!

If it's OEM, the housing recessed into the front bumper doesn't need to be removed to change the bulb. On the back of the housing there is a spring clip, which when released allows you to remove the burnt-out bulb. It takes an H1 12vDC 55W bulb. Your Sprinter Owners Manual should tell you how to replace it. It's best to replace both at once even if only one is burnt-out.


If the fog lights aren't recessed into the bumper, then it's aftermarket, and we would need a picture of the light to be able to provide further information.
