Filaments of the imagination!
There's a new kid on the block-an imposter at that. I don't know who's bright idea this was, but it'll make the uninitiated feel like a dim bulb.
To wit: There is a new automotive tail light dual filament bulb on the market-#7225 (BAZ 15d). It looks superficaially like our old friend the 1157, but it ain't. The new 7225 bulb is 21/4 Watts and has its indexing pins offset only about 160 degress and not 180 like the 1157. The 1157 is brighter being about 26/8 Watts. A person could spend some frustrating time trying to put either of these in the other's socket. BEWARE
