I'll contact everyone by PM when they are done and I'm satisfied with them. I'm not a "seller" these are just cost plus shipping - so no I won't have any way to take something like Paypal. We'll just do it the old fashion way...

Works for me. When it's ready, let me know and I'll have Brooke send you the check, along with my shipping address, since I'm here in San Angelo and she's still in MD.

And They Are Done....

Here is a photo of the finished product. Asked the shop to keep the CAD program for these in case there is ever more demand. Will send everyone a PM that wanted one.

Very Nice

Even though my Caravel does not have this option - I am liking what I see, maybe one day a future mod. Very nice work and the offer to get one for others was a great gesture.

Great Job

Mike

Rivet Just Curious

Just academically curious since my ’83 Excella has an aluminum cover that still looks great, what did they end up costing. I am very impressed with the photos. It’s great to see quality work.

$20 because of the limited run. I paid about that for the plastic one I bought before - although Andy says they are now $15.

I think that’s great. The finished product looks so good I am tempted in spite of having an original that looks great. Very well done!

Glad you like it Cameron - wondered when it would make it "up north".

Rivet “Original” Cover

Since posting that I have gotten a 1983 Owner’s Manual and a 1984 Service Manual. I assumed that the aluminum cover on my Excella was original, but the 1984 Service Manual says, “A molded plastic cover fits over the retainer for additional protection.” So I guess it’s not original. Has anyone else seen one like this? Just curious.

Thanks. It looks great and has obviously been on the trailer for quite a while, so I thought it was original.

Apparently, there was one of the stainless steel replacement covers left over that I managed to purchase from Ganglin through eBay yesterday. In case you are interested mine cost twice what you guys paid for your copies, but it was the ONLY one left. Thanks Gary for the opportunity.
