Light Switch source

Any suggestions of where I can pick up a replacement for the light switch that activates the small light? It is a push-push type. The original switch has the "button" broken off when the tire blew and damaged that area of the aluminum wrapper.

I went to Lowe's Home Improvement electrical section. They had push on-push off buttons but I changed mine to a toggle switch with the additional rubber cover. I placed the toggle so that pushed toward the back bumper was turned off just in case something on the road bounced up and hit it then it would still be toward the off position. No problems, not even an inquisitive child.

Installed !

Ok, I went with the SuperBright LED, cool white. They didn't have brown. And I used davidz71 's suggestion for the toggle switch - great suggestion. The new "skin" is back on with the new light and it works great !!

Thanks everyone for the ideas and great comic relief
Doug

I found a push on, push off switch at NAPA as documented in the wildly popular http://www.airforums.com/forums/f450...ent-38596.html thread. (142 views, 0 replies ) Really, there is not much to discuss. I put it up mainly as a resource for that switch.

I like your LED solution. Very clean installation.
