Curbside Brake Light Not Working

Trying to troubleshoot a problem with my right rear brake lights not working and I am not sure where to go from here.

I have a 1999 Safari. The light enclosure seems is one of the ones with three bulbs (Reverse in the middle).

On the right hand side, all the functions work except for the brake lights. Running, turning and reverse all function. The brake lights work fine on the left side.

Where does the wire for the curbside brake light run? Is it direct from the streetside light? If not, where is the other end so I can test from there?

Thanks..

The brake and clearance light wires, amoung others, all go directly to the plug at the front end.

The turn signal and brake light are the same bulb. Unless you have separate turn signals on the TV. Does the light come on and stay on instead of flashing?

Thats what seems so odd.. the turn signal works fine, just not the brake on the one side.

After messing around with the housing and bulbs, it magically is now working. Odd. We will see what a day of driving does to it.

Thanks again...
