Clearance lights

Did the clearance lights come caulked from airstream?

Is it a good idea to caulk around the clearance lights?

Shouldn't the power wire that goes through the airstreams skin have some sort of grommet to prevent moisture and chaffing?

Sometimes they did.

Adding sealer to the top and both sides of clearance lights is always a good idea.

But, DO NOT add sealer to the bottom of them, asthat would stop up the built in drain.

Just replaced my clearance lights today, it was 62 degrees here in NJ. It was a simple job, glad to have all new lights. MPJ
