Bathroom light help

In my 2008 19 foot, the bathroom light will only operate if the rear ceiling lights are on. The problem, if someone wants to use the john in the middle of the night and should need light, all the overhead lights over the bed must be turned on. (doesn't seem right to me)While these lights are on, the bathroom light can be turned on and off independently. As a foot note, the closet light operates totally independently. Is this normal???

Our 07 Bambi is the same way. Goofy isn't it. The 2 lights on the vanity have to be on to turn on the bath light.

That doesn't sound right to me. In my '07 20' the bathroom lights are on their own wall switch and there are individual switches on each of the two bathroom lights.

Mine is not like yours - but then it's older. On mine, bedroom ceiling lights one switch. Vanity lights another switch. Bathroom lights another switch. Wiring ideas obviously change.

Smallish flashlights are a great help with all this. Or understanding sleeping partner(s)!!
