Back-up Lights - TV - issue

Hi, I have one issue with my 1978 Argosy that I'd love a little help on.

Have neared completion of total renovation. Have only towed the trailer once and had the same issue on that tow.

When I plug trailer into TV, I have one back-up light that comes on on my TV and one back-up light comes on on the trailer. All else runs nicely, turn signals, running lights, etc....

I run several other trailers with no problems re my TV's connector....so I'm almost positive the issue is in the trailer.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Pinch

your 78 argosy might have a non standard umbilical connection pattern. try powering the back up lights without the tow vehicle connected and let us know what you get. we'll pick up from there depending on your answer.

Awesome - thanks. Appears that the links on Post #2 of that link (which I think would reveal my answer) aren't working anymore. Will try the simple battery to trailer test as well.

Thanks, Pinch
