ALL bedroom lights are out???

Folks, my friend has a 2000 31' Excella and all of a sudden all of the lights in her bedroom are inoperable - even the ceiling vent fan will not work! We've checked her breaker box - they're good and even the 12v connector panel up front doesn't show anything. Is there another fuzebox/breaker box we've missed? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Look again at the 12V fuse panel, those lights are all together on one fuse on a lot of the models, especially older ones (like mine).

On 'Streams from my trailer's era, they are on the purple wire.

i'm not sure about your model but mine has circuit breakers for the 12v system. you push a button to reset it. if it tripped you still need to find out why it tripped.

You have a blown fuse or 12 breaker, which ever one your rig has.

Just looking at fuses is not 100% as some blow on a part of the tape that you can't see. You have to test the output side of the fuse to be sure.

Breakers usually show some indication that they have blown. A slight mis alignment with the others is often the indicator.

Since the bedroom lights are on a separate 12 volt circuit and blew a fuse you may have a pinched wire or weak fuse. If once reset it blows a fuse again you have some inspecting to do to find the reason. If it is a breaker and blows again swap the wire with another breaker and see what happens. Breakers can be weak also and if this is the case it has to be replaced.

We found the 12v junction box under the middle front window. Couldn't find any breakers or reset switches on it even though the owner's manual shows them on that particular panel/box. Any other ideas folks?

If not a breaker or a fuse it may be a self resetting circuit breaker. The are small black boxes about 3/4 by 1/2 by1/2. Generally they will reset in a few minutes, however if you have a short they will just reblow as fast as they reset. If this is the case you will have to remove the wire on the output side, generally the outer wire, and after a few minutes test the output side with a test light or voltmeter. If you do not have voltage during this test the curcuit breaker is bad and needs to be replaced.
