'81 Excella II Fluorescents Not Working

Some of my Flourescent Lights are not working on my 81 Excella II. I suspect the ballast is dead. Does anyone make replacements for these things?

ThinLite makes replacements. If you are the original purchaser of the fixture, and have your receipt, there is a lifetime warranty on them. If not, they are about 1/2 to 2/3 the cost of a new fixture. At that point, I would be considering LED strips to replace the tubes.

Well how much is a ballast in real terms not relative terms. You can't just go to Lowe's and get a 12 V powered ballast or light fixture. LED's are a little too white for me. I just want to get them working at this point.

They are $18-$25 each, plus shipping, depending on model and who you get them from.

Perry,
The warm white are so close to the light you have in there, you almost can't tell it.

Yes the LED strips are good for area lighting. We designed them for the 12 volt fluorescent lights. They work good and if your fluorescent lights are over two years old the LED strips will put out more light. They fit in the light housing and by-pass the ballast.

Ok is was wanting to keep the stock look anyhow at least for now. The OEM diffusers will make the light from the LED's a lot less harsh. I have three roof vents on my trailer. Are all of them supposed to have lights in them? I think most of mine are working accept the two over the rear beds.

All my lights work after replacing some blown fuses. So check there first eventhough getting behind the coucho is a pain.
