'76 caravanner exterior lights

thr owners manual shows four wires coming through the roof to the tail light assembly. White, ground red,left turn and stop brown, right turn and stop green, clearance. My trailer has green, white, red, brown with white stripe, and brown with green stripe. What are these two brown wires with stripes?

Probably for the back up lights.

Green = Tail/Marker Lights
White = common/ground
Red = Left turn

One of the browns is the right turn; I would guess it is the one with the white strip.
The other is probably back up lights if you have them.

You could test it out with a battery charger. If you have a 7 way plug, the center pin will more than likely be the backup lights.

Thanks fellows, I forgot to mention the manual shows black for the backup. I can't seem to get anything from the green striped with a test light will try again tomorrow.
