I have a 63 GT and have wondered about breakers as I did not find one by the battery. I have not had the small panel on the belly pan off to look there since everything is working fine. Should I have one by the battery? I'm not sure if I have a California trailer or not, the AS plate on the side says it was manufactured in Santa Fe , Cal. but when I called and inquired about a manual and gave the serial # 193D333 I was told it was an Ohio trailer, anyone know for sure? Did the plants do things differently?

I been thinking about a breaker by the battery and would like to use a
Blue Sea marine breaker that will also work as a battery switch since it is also designed for this ( they are used on high dollar boats for the trolling motors). Would 25 amps be the correct size? One last question, did both power circuits go to one breaker?

you have an ohio trailer, judging by the serial.
i replaced my 25amp circuit breaker with a 30amp.
mianly because i counld not find a 25 easily.
i found nothing electrical behind any panel i removed from the belly (except the front one where the only accessible wires are)
the breaker near the battery is in the cabin next to the battery box, under the curbside gaucho.

i am interested in the breaker you mentioned..

hope that helps

No breaker anywhere so I will go the Blue Sea route. Thanks for manufacturing info.

So you need a wiring diagram, well I got one some place. I had a 1963 Globetrotter, and I took a few copies of the diagram. Give me a day or so and I think I can find it. I have since sold that trailer, and am working on a 1956 Flying Cloud, and would ya know it Im working on all new wiring as we speak. You can check out pictures of both trailers under search, Dan Clayton
