2009 27fb w corroded lights...nothing's ever easy.

Hey guys---my 2009 27FB, which I bought from a man in Miami, has lots of oxidation on the marker lenses. Tried and tried to remove by the clips as the forum stated, but ended up breaking the clip and pullng one of the wires loose....which was fine because I'm going to toss anyway.

Did all of them have the foam/ tacky/ caulky sealant sprayed all inside of them? Jeez... a fiasco to just clear it away to find the bolt. In fact, pulled one of the wires loose just trying to clear it....making me hope I can get enough there to splice the new one in.

Then, on the orange marker, I could only get the lens loose, not the entire housing.

Any advice anyone can give on this fiasco would be much appreciated. It may all come clear when I receive the new ones and can work backward looking at those, but just wanted to be prepared when they arrive.

Just a simple switch out I thought.
