1973 Trade Wind Switch question

I am currently in the process of a interior rework, floor up, and i have run into a light switch that i cannot figure out what it does. There are 3 switches total. The front most switch controls the side light . Right beside the door there are 2 switches, the first controls the porch light but the second does nothing. Also i found 4 cut wires coming out of the refrigerator vent(red, black, brown, and green) but they have no power or no continuity. are the 2 somehow linked?

the 4 wires by the fridge are for a remote thermotat on the original roof ac (prewired). the other end of those wires is in the ceiling at the ac location. One switch should do outside light, the other should turn on one of the ceiling lights inside....

Not sure about your Tradewind, but he second switch by the door on my 1975 Sovereign turns on the light over the sink.

in 69, at least on our floor plan there are 2 lights on the ceiling, one in front of the front vent, and a second between the two vents (about halfway back the trailer) and that one is controlled by the switch. None of those switches worked correctly when we picked ours up. all were easy to take apart with a pair of needlenose pliers, clean the contacts, fresh dielectric grease and work great now.

My 75 TW is the same. It is setup as a 3-way with the one over the sink.

Apparently after 69 they must have went to 2 switches at the door. My 69 Ambassador has one switch at the front of the side window curb side for the porch light and one at the door that goes to the center of the three lights down the ceiling(in the kitchen area). Where was the tstat for the ac located? I have nothing left of the ac but the wires. Apparently the furnace tstat was located curb side at rear wardrobe.

the wires for the AC thermostat went from over the refrigerator, up the rib, and down the center of the roof to the AC unit in the ceiling (likely tucked off to the roadside in the insulation. If blocking or braces for AC are there, then they are probably between the skins behind that. Our furnace thermostat is run from below the kitchen sink to the bathroom wall, curbside, yes sharing the wardrobe wall and light there (run with gray speaker wire in ours).

Ours is shorter, only has the 2 lights, over the front dinette and one mid-trailer, which is switched by the door.
