1965 plastic tail light assembly

Hello,
I'm new to this group and a proud new owner of a 1965 airstream. I was wondering if anyone has information about where I can find replacement parts for my plastic tail light housing. I'm not sure that I want to remove them and fix the area with a piece of flat aluminum. I would like to keep it as original as possible.

Thank you
Brian

Hi Brian and welcome!!

Can you describe what it looks like? There are a couple of different versions for your year. Post a pic if you have one.

Thanks Steve,

Thanks for your response. I found a post with the same question. Listed under (65 safari tail light replacement help). Basically I need to repair the unit with fiberglass. I'm thinking of trying to get some made out of aluminum. I think this would look much better than painted plastic IMO.

Brian,

Give the folks at Inland RV a call. They may be able to help you out as well. Good luck!
