110v party lights on 12Vdc

Hey, anybody know if you can run 110v Christmas type “party light” strings on the 12Vdc system when boondocking? Or convert them to LEDS? Those little Airstreams, bears, flamingos and Mickey Mouse heads are begging for a February Desert Party but no hookups and don’t want generator noise. Will the 110v bulbs even light on 12V?

Hey, do yourself a favor and get some 110v LED's and use them on an inverter. I run 6 sets of 60 lights (640 lights) and my batteries hardly notice it.

How'd you do the underneath blue effect? Way cool!

Where can I find "LED rope" lights when it's not Christmas season in the box stores?

Google...LED rope lights. LED rope lights 12v.

The blue underbody lights on my rig are neon

eBay is your best bet for LED string lights. I got mine after the holidays 4 $2.99 per 60 light string. got 10 strings.

I recently used them to light up a lg umbrella and opened a cafe in the middle of the desert. I can run 6 strings most of the night on my batteries with no problem

Warm white, cool white Blue, and multi color. Mine were branded "Phillips"
