Where can I get a 1961 Overlander Tub?

Looking for a tub to put into our 61 Overlander. Does anyone know of a replacement option?

Thanks

You might post a free ad here on Air Forums classifieds. People are gutting vintage Airstreams now and then and you might find someone who would give it to you, but you pay the packaging and shipping. Many people just pitch their old bath parts if they are completely remodeling the interior.

You should also research and see what years had tubs that might fit your Overlander. For example, it is likely the Trade Wind, Overlander, Ambassador, and Sovereign had the same tub and maybe for several model years. It would expand your opportunities.

Hey there,

I have a tub from a ‘64 Silver Streak, not sure if it’ll fit but it’s worth looking into. No charge for the tub... just s&h.

Bath Tub

If your trying to replace the tub with an exact match it may be difficult. AS has moved the tubs from curb side to street side and back. Suggest you look at the archive floor plans and determine which years will work for you.

I used a curb side tub from a 64 Overlander for my 57 to replace the shower/toliet stall. It was a lot of work (fiberglass) because I wanted it to be stand alone, without the sink attached.

We Found One!

We called P & S Trailer (http://pandstrailerservice.com)
in Ohio - and Steve had a camper they were gutting. It is perfect! It was a short road trip for us to visit them in Ohio. I can't stay enough about P & S. We heard about them from from someone we met in the Tin Can Tourist group here in Michigan and they have been very helpful during our restoration journey!
Thanks to everyone for their help and suggestions!
