What about the weight?

A china loo would be great, but what about the difference in weight? (Ahhh, poetry...)

We just got an '83 310 Moho and I really want to replace the old toilet, but we don't want to add a heavy unit.

The old one holds water and works fine. It is, however, dull, so the water doesn't shed away like it did in the Thetford in our popup. If there is a way to polish it to bring it back to the smooth surface it was, I would. Anyone tried that.

PS: We are on the way home with our baby and like two little kids! Will post all about it soon!

Hello Auretrvr,
the sealands and the other styles of china toilets are much lighter by far
than any household toilets .the sealand 110 is pretty light and the original
was porcelin so not much difference there. Its nicer I think than any plastic toilet .

Don't know the weight of the original in your MH. The Sealand low profile unit (pictured in my post above) weighs 36.1 lb. The other toilet shown weighs 26.9 lbs.
