Toilet Water Flow

Water flow on refill is just a trickle. Nothing visibly wrong. Hold pedal slightly depressed and fill rate increases to a strong trickle. Unexpected change following a week of camping prior to this trip.
Does the winged connector from water line to toilet have a screen in place? Thinking mineral deposits.

Yes. Mine had that problem this winter. Crud in the screen. Clean that out and the waters will flow.

Next thing to do is always use a camco water filter at the shore pedestal. Will reduce the amount of crud at all your fixtures.

I have the blue filter in place. Iíve noticed that even with that in place I still get mineral deposits in the screens. Iíll pull that wing nut off and scrub the screen.

Pulled same. No screen. Good flow at water line. Toilet must have failed.

Hmm. I'll go look at mine shortly. Did you receive documentation on the toilet along with the rest of your package?

On mine, the foot pedal acts as a cam that opens the water valve mounted on the side of the toilet. The valve is "t" shaped with the actuating plunger riding on the cam. That valve has screen on the input side.

After I replaced my fresh water tank two years ago, that screen became plugged with plastic shavings causing the same symptoms you have. Pulled the valve, cleaned it out and problem solved.

Toilet Water Flow

Called manufacturer and then read reply from n2916s ... yep the screen is in the valve as described. Approx 1Ē inside. Used a mirror and flashlight to identify that I was clogged with deposits. Used q-tips to clean up the mess and we are back to a working toilet.
From the manufacturing folks I learned that even if the toilet failed there is no need to remove to repair. The foot pedal housing contains a replaceable cartridge - bar the actual porcelain being broke.
Going to send an email to AS Jackson Center as the Help Desk there told me there was no screen and a failed toilet has to be replaced.
Thanks everyone.

Sorry, slow to get back. When mine clogged, like yours, I feared the worst as well. Luckily I had a manual for it with my other trailer documents and remember it talked about the cartridge. I forgot the details until I read your account.
