By the way, I was the other problem that you responded to. Wasn't sure if a thread would be answered quicker than a reply..thanks again.

Well, my husband took the toilet out on Sat. and took it apart. There was a small piece broke off so he tried to rig it up but it still isn't right. The flap still won't close completely even though we tried everyones suggestions. So it's on to trying to find a replacement toilet. He said our bolts are at 11&5. Has anyone replaced their toilet with a new one. Do they fit? I appreciate everyones feed back. This place is a real help Oh, we don't flush the solids down, we use the camp restrooms for that. We are there every weekend so it gets a lot of use. Someone told us to keep the valve open, since it goes through the holding tank and directly to the sewer. I always put those deodorizers in there but now am wondering if I have to since the flap stays open? Irene

why put them in there, if the tank is always empty?

yes, you still need to use them, because from now on, you'll be closing that valve!

Well we went down this weekend, new toilet in hand.(thedford aqua magic 5 the only one they had) umm, the bolts were at the wrong locations. My husband drilled and made new drill holes, hooked the toilet up, it fit fine but leaked from 2 places on the toilet. When I took it out of the box I was disappointed because I thought the quality wasn't there, compared to our original toilet. He took it out and we found a place on the Island that sells toilets. They only had 3 and we opted for the Bravaro. The quality is much better but the only one they carried was the higher model. So, we love the toilet but need a step stool to use it. I wish I could sell it to get my money back but you no know how that goes. It cost us $212. Oh well, at least we have a good toilet. Thanks for all the help
