Thetford Residence Toilet: Won't flush?!

Hey guys! So I have a brand new Thetford Residence Toilet. I ran new pex lines to a 360-degree on / off valve, then through a one-way 1/2" FIP to 1/2" FIP faucet pipe to the rear of the toilet. The pipe is in the correct direction. When I push down on the pedal to flush the toilet, the gasket opens but no water flows through the toilet bowl. The water, however, does fill the clear tube in the rear of the toilet. My girlfriend even said that it did flush water for her once, but when she brought me back to show, it didn't do it again...

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Chris

First check is water pressure to toilet.. Flow is generated by decreased pressure that should activate pump, if not on city water line/hose.. There may be enough residual water to just fill clear line. Without seeing plumbing diagram, you may have tapped into unpressurized line which isn't triggering flow... DO you have a way to test pressure in the line to the toilet?

I am hooked up to city line and my gauge reads 42 psi. I unhooked the toilet line and opened the valve and water shoots out with good pressure.

Well... Makes me suspect an issue in the toilet flush valve, but I am not knowledgeable enough about those to keep offering advice...

Next?

UPDATE:

The problem with the toilet was that I used a leak detection Stainless steel hose to supply the toilet. Apparently, when you tried to flush the toilet, the hose thought that there was a leak so it stopped the supply of water. I replaced it with a regular SS supply hose and it works just fine now... Damn you technology!!!
