sinking feeling

While removing the bathroom plastic wall of my 79 mh to repair a plumbing leak, I broke the sink. No problem, I thought since I wanted to put in a stainless steel. Big problem since I havn't been able to find one that will fit the hole in the counter portion of the wall. Any suggestions will be appreciated. This forum is extremely helpful to what is becoming clear as a huge undertaking. Thanks...joe

First, forget about the big hardware stores and go to a plumbing supply store like Hajoca or Noland. They may not be prepared to sell directly to you, as they do wholesale only, but all you need to do is find a friend who has a contractor's licence who will get it for you. Look at BAR sinks primarily.

I'd look at Simonhanbury's pictures too - he did a great renovation and I think I noticed he had a small rectangular sink that was deeper at one end than the other. (I thought it would be perfect to wash a baby in.)

You might check a marine parts catalog too. Boats often have nice little small stainless sinks in their heads.

Might also look at outwater plastics....they have some very small ss bar sinks.
