Shower Wont Turn Off

Making sure that before we go out the first time everything in the trailer is in working order.

I connected our hose to the city water inlet supply to test all the lines for leaks. When I turned on the shower it worked fine but no matter which way I turn the lever the water wont stop coming out of the shower head.

Any ideas?

I am guessing it is a bad valve. Not a bad fix. Moen valves are easy to find and not very hard to replace.

I took the valve off as suggested and it seemed to be fine. I decided to take the actual valve apart and found that the plastic inside had broken in half.
Called Moen and they are sending me a new valve for free.
Thanks for the input.

Probably frozen water in the valve over the winter. Did you use RV antifreeze or blow it out with compressed air?

Moen is an excellent company to deal with. They stand behind their life time guarantee.

Glad you got this fixed in time for your first trip of the season!

I blew the trailer out with compressed air but I was on a hunting trip and missed the first hard freeze. If the toilet valve and shower are the only two problems I have Ill feel lucky.

When the valve comes in Im going to fill the tank and make sure all the other plumbing is ok. Fingers crossed.

On a different note, check out the table my dad made me. I wanted a drink/snack size table to give us more room in the trailer. He made it out of oak with a bracket that fits on the aluminum table leg.

Pic. attached, thought it uploaded in my previous thread. The towels over the seats are to prevent flying toddler food from staining the seat cushions.
