Hi! PO replaced hot water heater with electric. We have hot at lav and galley sink but single pull lever for bath gives us only mildly warm water, when lever is in hottest position. Please help!!!
Hi, cnsilver. My newer trailer had a hot water issue in the shower, but not in the bathroom or kitchen faucets; It needed a replacement cartridge for the shower valve. Your trailer being older, I would check for a blockage in the hot water line to your shower or in the control it'self. [dirt, sand, calcium, Etc.]

If it isn't in need of repair or blocked is it new? By any chance did the PO replace the shower faucet as well as the HW heater? We had the same problem, hot water everywhere except at the shower. We found out that our faucet has a hot water stop adjustment to stop scalding and it is adjustable. It's good and hot now and could be set even hotter.
I found this post, perhaps some of it is applicable.
The Moen valves have a hot water stop adjustment just under the handle to prevent the water from getting too hot. You have the adjustment messed up so there is no hot water. You take the handle off and depending on the valve you have there will be two white plastic serrated knobs that slide over the stem and into the chrome cover tube. You pull the inner tube out and rotate it to the left (counterclockwise) and then turn the handle and see if you have it set where you want it. You may have to do this several times to get the correct setting. Not all of the adjustments are made with the white plastic pieces, some are made differently and you may have to look up your brand or figure out how to adjust yours. Almost all use the method of stopping the handle from turning too far to the hot position and the handle should have a lug that strikes up against another lug as it rotates and this is how the valve stops the person from turning the valve on too hot. If you look closely you will see.
When you have the handle off you turn the valve (might need a small crescent or pliers) and figure how it works. Then you will have no problem adjusting it.
Follow Carol's advise. All shower valves now have a limit adjuster so the Kids can't burn themselves.
If not a Moen there will be a similar system. Koller uses a notched ring with each notch adding or subtracting about 3 degrees.
Why this happened is your electric thermostat in the heater is just not set as high as the gas one was. If you intend to use both electric and gas in the hot water heater I would have the stats adjusted so they match the cut off point. Otherwise you may have TOO hot of water in the shower when on gas.
