Shower knob and Toilet Removal

I have a 69 Sovereign Twin I am getting road ready. For some reason I can't get the shower knob to budge. I assume it pulls out and then left and right for hot and cold. Any advise?

I am also attempting to repair my Thetford toilet. I can not get to the back to disconnect. Any Advise?

Thanks for the time

I am no plumber.... and do not know about your shower knob... but we have a Thetford toilet in our 1963 Bambi. Very close to the wall. My husband disassembled the entire trailer... but once he was putting the toilet back in... I got elected to turn the tiny wrench 1/4 of a turn over and over again because I have much smaller hands and wrists and could just (barely) get in the tight spot to do it! Got any kids? They might fit....

The shower valve is either corroded or has been allowed to freeze and expand the brass parts. Best to remove the whole assembly, disassemble, inspect, and rebuild if not damaged. The water connection for the toilet is very difficult to disconnect. Use a mirror to see where the connection is, then go by memory and feel. If you get desperate, you may be able to trace the line by looking through the rear compartment door. If really desperate, cut an access hole from the rear. Darol
