shower head/spray

having a very small amount of spray coming from our shower head.....thought i might share what worked for me.....after de lime a few times, turning up the water pressure, without much change to the problem of just a trickle of spray......i took off the connectiing flex line at the head, poked with a small screw driver through the holes in the rubber restricking valve inside the head receiver handle.....well dont laugh ..i can now shower the way it should be.
