SHower head and hose
Have to replace the hose on my 93 Excella because it has pinhole leaks. I was able to remove the hose from the bottom but it will not come off at the top where it is attached to the shower head. Am I stuck having to replace the entire unit? If so, is there a cheap alternative for the hose/head unit because it is rarely if ever used.

It looks like you scratched it pretty good trying to get it off, so maybe it doesn't but mine (2002 Classic 30) did. It was hard to get off, but it did come off.

No brainier big guy. Not used much, just go to Walmart, ace hardware, lowes ect.. They sell a complete kit shower head ,hose ,gasket, for $20-$30 bucks.

Yeah, but I think he is gonna need the chrome angle piece to mount to his original wall mount.

Had to but a generic shower kit and will have to remove the original mount and use their plastic mount. Not a big deal because it will rarely be used.

Mine came off and I replaced it. I even ran across another on clearance and bought it for a spare. They are cheap. Home Depot, Lowes, or Wally World usually have them.

We have replaced ours a couple of times. This last time, went to LOWES. Got a new, multiple spray Oxygenics head, conserves water, works great. We also purchased, separately, a new hose. Only at Lowes, it is very, very flexible, smooth and light, much better that those heavy, clunky things that come with the showered. We love it.

There are now Oxygenic look-alikes cheap on Amazon. The original had a ring around the shank to reduce flow gradually, the cheaper ones and/or knockoffs have a button that turns the flow off or on. I haven't SEEN one that has fitting that is needed for Airstream - the loop that fits on the wall hook... however you can buy that "pin" fitting by itself on Amazon. It is a bit difficult to switch out, but beats drilling holes in the fiberglass surround IMHO.
