Shower Drain Corroded

Hi Guys, the newbie vendor soldiers on! Lol!
thought you might be able to advise with a problem I have on both my Airstreams. The (I'm sure it's) aluminium shower waste is rather badly corroded. The "metal" is oxidising and as a result the waste is blocking and taking an age to drain. I would like to replace both with plastic or brass fittings. What is the simplest access point to the underside of the shower tray. I'm anticipating drilling out some rivets and removing a belly panel - is this the case?
Regards,
Marc

Yes we just did this last weekend. Sounds like your drain is a twin to this one. Hubbie couldn't get the drain to come out . So he had to remove rivets and belly pan to get to it. It wasn't to bad a loss, going to have to replace some of the underbelly anyway.

Thank you blondie!
As I said I have to do it on both so I'll start on my Excella(not inhabited) and learn all the lessons there before fixing the Sovereign.
Regards,
Marc
