I had the same thing happen on my '08 Safari SE twin bed. I'm putting a plan together to just take the whole thing out and replace it with a custom made shower curtain. Maybe something that will spruce up the color in the bath. I rarely use the shower, opting for the campground facilities, and feel a curtain would do me well. I also plan to built a custom shelving unit out of PVC that will sit in the shower and better utilize it for storage of linens and towels. If the shower is needed for it's intended purpose then I can simply remove the PVC shelving unit in pieces. I'll post some pics when I can find the time to get started on it. In the mean time I'm holding the door frame together with C-clamps and bungee cords.
