Shower door falling off ?????

We have a 2001 Excella. Our former '85er had a lightweight plastic accordian shower curtain and was never an issue. BUT, our current one has a solid tempered glass door. It's nice and works well but has a tendency to pop out of the hinge while traveling. Doesn't happen all the time but enough to be a nuisance an needing a remedy. When it pops out it usually falls into the shower stall and has made a hole in the enclosure that also needs to be patched so any ideas for that would be great also. I think I saw here somewhere that someone installed some fiber washers on the bottom post and may have solved a similar issue.
