Sagging shower head
No matter how hard I try to tighten the screw fitting that holds the shower wand tight to the bracket holding it in place when not using it as a "wand", it continues to sag and directs the stream down the wall of the shower instead of out where it can be used as a conventional shower head.
Has anyone found a good solution to this problem?

I have the same situation on an '07 model.
I have not tried to fix it on purpose as it causes the spouse to actually take Navy showers.

Right...other than tightening the set screw during every trailer trip, sometimes more than once, I can't say what might work. I'm pondering the use of super glue. Navy showers are fine, but at 6' 1" it's more like a crouching Navy shower for me.

I had the same problem and used "duct tape" seems to have worked (temporarily anyway).

Duct Tape always works. Thats why it's... "The Handymans Secret Weapon."
That joke is for you Canadians and the few who get the show on PBS.
Now let's say the Man's prayer:
Lord, I'm a man.
I can change.
If I have to.
I guess.

Try taking the bolt out and adding a thin plastic washer that should stiffen it up.

I was thinking along the same lines, I wonder if a rubber gasket would hold better.

Dave's idea might be the better of the two..... would probably slip less

I was also a fan of the periodic "tightening" - until last week when the fitting cracked - now I'm in replacement mode.

Can someone post a picture of the assembly for a clearer understanding of the problem. Thank You.

Just to follow-up on this thread.
Not sure whether anyone else has been looking to replace this piece but here in Canada I had a heck of a time finding a replacement "shower swivel" without buying the entire shower unit. Once I started looking through U.S. websites things got a lot easier. I just received today a new swivel from Van Dykes Restorers in Mitchell, South Dakota. It is inexpensive and much superior to the swivel that came with our trailer - metal, not plastic.
If anyone is looking to replace theirs, and having trouble finding a supplier, you might check out:

Glad I'm not alone on shower droop. I'm thinking of epoxying a piece of plastic about two inches big to the wall just below the shower head to hold the flexible pipe to the head and keep it upward. If I use Locktite, I may never get the shower head apart if necessary. I'll probably try a washer first, but I'm afraid of cracking the unit.
Now another issue—when I move the slide to shower off, it continues to run a bit and becomes very hot. There seems to be an imbalance between hot and cold water under lower pressure. Any ideas?
